This page provides links to information about the Federal Stimulus package first time home buyer tax credit, available from November 6th, 2009 through April 30th, 2010 to purchasers who close after January 1st, 2010.
Also added, a credit of up to $6,500 for qualified move-up repeat home buyers (existing home owners) purchasing a principal residence after November 6, 2009 and on or before April 30, 2010 (or purchased by June 30, 2010 with a binding sales contract signed by April 30, 2010).
Even with thousands of homes available in metro Atlanta, when a purchaser starts narrowing down the search to a particular commute location, school district, price and home style, there are certain areas that have limited selection!

Buyer Bonus Dollars at Closing - Rebates
|
|
In addition to a Federal tax credit, when I represent you as a buyer agent in Cobb County you will receive a 50% commission rebate during the Federal tax credit period. This rebate is payable to you by me at closing on a seller paid commission of 3% of the sales price. All parties must be notified of this credit and lenders must approve the credit. This provides some additional cash in hand to help you complete your purchase before December 1st, 2009.
